Another Useless Blog
Chuck Ponzi July 7th, 2006
All Readers:
Due to Patrick’s recent announcement that he will no longer be posting bubble news stories to his website without a subscription (which costs $5 for 25 days), I took it upon myself to create another blog that will highlight the most recent bubble news stories. I had been squatting on the site for some time trying to get some time and motivation to aggregate news stories there, but had been unable to find the time until now.
When I get time, I will be compiling an RSS feed group on the same blog for all of the bubble bloggers out there, and some econ bloggers as well.
I find it helpful to sort through the commentary and just see news articles. If you like the commentary, there are plenty of other sources for it out there.
I hope you enjoy, the blog’s address is:

Yes I can’t believe patrick is charging…it defeats the purpose of information for all…particularly at a sensitive time like this where it’s so easy to get the wrong info.
I certainly don’t fault him for charging, but I’m sure as heck not paying. I might have been interested for a few bucks a month, not twenty five bucks.
You can use any news ud like from the bottom of the main page of my website if you’d like

I’ve paid 2 bucks to watch two dogs f*ck, but I aint paying for patricks.
He argues that he needs more time for his work and family; that the article list is a burden on his day.
But riddle me this: Now that people are paying for it, does it take him any less time to compile? Doesn’t it take the same amount of time to compile a list for an audience of 1 person as it does for 1 million? In fact, now that they’re paying he can’t take a few days off or slack off at all - it’s MORE of a burden on his life.
I don’t mind people charging for the use of their info. It’s what capitalism is all about. However, I think his ‘explanation’ is bogus.
Just say it: “I want to make money off my site.” Embrace it. Don’t hide from it.
Being honest isn’t part of being a capitalistic…look at Cheney…he’s the worst form of Capitalism…this whole administration.
I’m sick and tired of people using the concept of capitalism as an excuse to do free-for-alls for everything out there. The reason why we’re here having dicussions about this completely fraked up housing market is due to that…as is the fraked up environment, fraked up starving people, fraked up wars, etc…
A little less greed would be a good thing right now for the human race…I think ultimately the survival of us all will depend on it. It sounds loaded and lame yes..but I do believe we are heading that way.

“Being honest isn’t part of being a capitalistic…look at Cheney…he’s the worst form of Capitalism…this whole administration.”
Why must it always end up with politics with you? We don’t care!
“I’m sick and tired of people using the concept of capitalism as an excuse to do free-for-alls for everything out there.”
Isn’t that what you Europeans have been saying for decades?
If you don’t like it, look the other way, I really don’t give a care what you think.
Don’t be such a troll…it’s getting old.
And please don’t answer back…I really don’t give a shit.
“If you don’t like it, look the other way, I really don’t give a care what you think.”
I bet most of the people in here agree with me. Most of us Americans could care less about your politics.
I have made some profitable investments based on Patrick’s info. He is basically charging less than $5 a month. Patrick has more than paid his dues. I have never met him but some how I think his heart is in the right place
Thanks! I miss Patrick’s links.
You’d have to be really stupid to pay Patrick.
I think therapy should be considered when you call someone stupid. How do you know how much anonyomous profited by reading Patrick. She could have make enough to pay the $60 a year for the next 5,000 years or so.
Considering the large number of unique daily visitors (chart at bottom of page) wasn’t Patrick alreday making good money from the ads on his site?
