Edited by Chuck: Sorry, on second thought, while I don’t censor, I own the content on this site, and I don’t like this kind of baiting.
Note to others: If you find content objectionable, let me know specifically what is objectionable about it either on the site or by email and I’ll review.
Chuck:
This is the last straw. I added you to my RSS reader a couple of years ago because I admired (and still do admire) your gift for economic analysis.
But over the last year, you’ve let your cynicism get the best of you, and your Randian rants have diminished the value of your blog.
While I prefer objectivity to objectivism, I can tolerate an occasional screed here and there as long as it doesn’t venture into conspiracy-theory madness. Today was a one-two punch: endorsement of a video claiming the federal income tax to be fraudulent, and the censorship of a reader whose opinion you didn’t like.
My old law professor Eugene Volokh is an avowed libertarian, and brilliant legal scholar. A couple months ago on his blog, he reminded us that “there are virtually no serious legal scholars who endorse claims that the income tax is unconstitutional, despite its popularity among some right-wing political activists and others.”
You have a choice: you can work to regain intellectual credibility in your future posts, or join the ranks of discredited nutcases carrying coiled-snake flags. I will occasionally check in to see what path you’ve chosen. But for now, you’re off of my feed.
Sadly,
__Robbb
PS – How about some actual real estate news, man?
Robbb,
I will get back to housing.
But, I do not endorse flame-baiting or religious intolerance on my blog.
Chuck
I had no idea what reader “james r” had even written. It had been removed before I logged on.
If it was a religious slur, I would have taken it down too.
Apologies, and all due credit to you, sir (in all forms possible).

I just love these self-righteous purportedly “always correct” lunatic ultra-OC conservatives who act as if they actually **know** something, as if they know what “reality” is and that they have walked the edge long enough to know what is what. I call BS on that one, Mr. Robbb. I think you know zero. As in squat. Nada. No thing.
You are the lunatic, sir. That you don’t believe in the mesage in said video makes you a crazy person. Really and absolutely. That’s how far gone you are. You think you are statius quo and that you can get away with fitting into the crowd by pretending you know something, but the truth is you know nothing. So watch the video and shut up already.
A fact is a fact is a fact is a fact last time I checked. Unless you like your LSD nice and deep purple, Mr . Robbb.
Leave the video and keep posting more. Just because Mr. Robbb doesn’t know much about the financial systems works doesn’t mean you need to cater to the uneducated.
Next!
